Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

Love this moisturizer! No matter how many other moisturizers I have used this is one that I always go back to. Especially in the winter time. I always Have two of these on hand one for my kit and one for my personal use. Very light and moisturizing. A little goes a long way and for $28.99 it well worth the price. A staple in my collection.

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder

As we all know the famous banana powder that Kim Kardashians makeup artist uses on her to highlight and brighten up her eye area has become high in demand. It is definitely not easy to come by unless your paying crazy shipping charges and triple the amount for the product. There are some beauty supply stores that do carry this product. Here in NYC you can get it in Rickys NYC beauty supply stores. But make sure you call before you make the trip cause they do sell out very fast. This powder is a finely milled powder that has a yellow tint that is great for the under eye area to help set concealer if used correctly. If you have dry skiing and your foundation sets to a matte finish you might have problem with it looking cakey. This powder was made for theatrical use so a very little is needed if you plan on using it daily. If you use it for an evening event you can get away with a little more than normal. I am very pleased with this product finally an excellent product for a very low price! $13.99 for a 3oz bottle. The last picture with the swatches one side is a heavy swatch and the other is the powder blended into the skin.

Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation

The new on the rise. The well talked about Marc Jacobs Genius Gel foundation is in my possession! I was on the hunt for a new slightly lighter foundation for the winter. I did my research and watched many many videos on YouTube and decided that the Marc Jacobs foundation will be the one! My first impressions were its definitely not gel consistency but is a gel based foundation. Right away I thought it's almost an exact dupe of my Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation the consistency is exact the color is exact. Bobbi Brown in warm beige and Marc Jacobs 44 golden medium. The difference in the two are Marc Jacobs has no SPF and Bobbi Brown has SPF of 15. Marc Jacobs is a very light coverage and I have seen and heard a lot of people say it is build-able but my opinion is no more than two layers. It sets to a semi matte finish so for those that have dry skin this probably would not be a good foundation for you. It would emphasize the dry skin and will look caked on and flaky. If you have dry patches also this would not work. Exfoliate your skin and make sure to moisturize!

Revlon Colorstay Whipped

I have been searching for a dupe for Laura Mercier cream smooth foundation and thought I would try this foundation. With all the reviews and blogs I have seen I really thought that I would like this foundation. Unfortunately I do not like it. It is an oil base foundation which leaves a shiny finish and if you have an oily T-zone then you would need extra powder. It is a very light coverage foundation that stays on for about 9 hours. 24hrs is out the window. I tried to build the coverage but I did not like how it felt on my skin. Definitely feels heavy. I will use this up using it as a quick to go foundation but would not repurchase.

Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case

Once I purchased this palette about a week ago I have been using it everyday since. The colors are great for fall. You can easily go from a day to night look with this palette. I love the formula of the shadows. Although provocateur and revolt look chunky and would possible have fall out that is not the case. Everything is very pigmented no need to pack anything on. My favorite color is vaporize. It is a great taupe. But overall great to travel with everything in one small compact case.
