This blog post is long overdue. I have not taken any pictures of swatches of my inglot eyeshadows. I took some time to go through my inglot eyeshadows which all of them are named by a certain finish with a number. As said in my previous blogs I am a huge fan of inglot eyeshadows. My opinion.....they are worth every penny! Cheaper than MAC eyeshadows, you get more product and the pigmentation is incredible : )

Every makeup fanatic seeks for brushes that they absolutely love. There are so many brands of makeup brushes out there it can be overwhelming to find the right ones that work for you. My collection grew over a 2 year period. I use all my brushes : ) I use to think some people have to many brushes but as a freelancer and a makeup can never have too many! My collection consist of brushes from MAC, Sigma, Sigmax, Look NY, Crown Brushes, Revlon, Cala and Posh.

This palette is a must have in my kit. It is creamy, smooth and easy to blend. This is very close if not identical to the makeup forever concealer/corrector palette. The difference I feel is that the graftobian palette is easier to work with. And let me not for get THE PRICE! Their prices are amazing for the products that they have. I definite
Recommend this product to all makeup artist or even if it is for personal use.....very well worth the money : )

Another fantastic product from Graftobian is their HD glamour creme SUPER PALETTES. These palettes contain 18 shades of foundation. Although the square might look small you do not need a lot of product at all. A very LITTLE goes a LONG way : ) This is the first brand that I have invested in for my kit and I am 100% happy with my decision. They are cream foundations that have no SPF so it is EXCELLENT for pictures. The color ranges are fantastic and even of a color is a little bit off you can add another color to get it perfect.

Everyone that I have used this product on so far have not complained about any break outs and were very happy with it. This is a very good investment for makeup artist and freelance MUA.

I hope this was helpful : )

I have been signed up to Birchbox for a while now but never actually place the order to get the monthly samples until a friend if mine sent me an invitation to join and reminded me I am already signed up. So I placed my order and received my first BIRCHBOX this month : ) I have always seen the birchbox YouTube vids and they are all pretty much a hit or miss with the absolutely amazing stuff or your norm "ok I'll use it" stuff. For my first birchbox I'm ahhhhhh lol. Here is what was in it.

Incoco nail polish appliqué 10 strips.
The original comes with 16 and is $7.99-$10.99

Joure lip enhancer that is to hydrate, plump and condition (which I have been wearing for the past 20 minutes and don't feel no plumping action going on!) lol it does feel hydrating and conditioning. The sample is 0.07oz the normal size is 0.33oz and is $14

LIV GRN Earth Eau de Parfum I am very sensitive to certain smells in perfumes and not a fan of this : ( sample size doesn't say on jar but it is a regular sample perfume size. The normal is 3.4 fl Oz and retails for $60

Pangea Organics facial cream for normal to combination skin. I am looking forward to trying this out the sample is half of the full size which is 1 Oz and the full size is 2fl and retails $36

The surprise gift is a brichbox FRIENDSHIP bracelet. It says wear it and show your PRIDE! LOL

I have been building my collection for a while now and realized now " I think I should slow down" lol. I have a good amount of eyeshadows now and realize that I really do use everything I have which is definitely a plus. At the beginning of my collection I focused on MAC eyeshadows because the range of colors and it was easier for me to get to a MAC store. After I really got into makeup it is then I started looking into other brands that were equally or better than MAC eyeshadows.

Coastal Scents is a really good brand also but you don't get enough product. They are dime size eyeshadows in the palette I have ( 36 smokey eye palette ). The color payoff is not bad at all but I personally do not like the smell. And especially if I have to apply it on my face.

Too Faced eyeshadow that I have is the romantic palette which I depotted the palette. I really love the colors but they are very chalky. Being chalky can take up time also trying to clean off excess eyeshadow off the face or having to re-apply a concealer.

There are plenty of other brands out there that I have swatched in stores but just didn't like. And for the prices of most of them were just OUTRAGEOUS : ( . I wasn't wowed by Urban Decay when I tried there naked palette because I basically had dupes for all the colors from MAC. But when I received the 15th anniversary eyeshadow collection I was in heaven : )

My absolutely favorite brand for eyeshadows is Inglot. I did a lot of research and held off as long as I could to get them in IMATS NYC 2011. When me and my friend got to IMATS..... when that door opened the first stop was INGLOT. We both got a 20 palette cause I believe it was 30% off.

Ingot eyeshadows are AMAZING! Very pigmented, very easy to blend and good quantity for the $. To achieve a MAC color that is in the pan you have to pass it over about 2-3 times I can never get the color pay off with just one pass of the brush. Although I love the colors they have it is double the work. With ingot eyeshadows it only takes 1 time to get that color payoff. I LOVE IT : ) less time consuming.......especially if I am working on a client.
